RGHI Coat Drive

The RGH Initiative recently held a coat drive to support underserved children in the Washington, DC area. In partnership with Friendship Southeast Public Charter Elementary and Middle School, we collected 86 new coats, 16 hats, 4 scarves, and 7 vests to benefit their students. To further support the cause, The Village Basketball Team hosted two games featuring local youth AAU teams and RGH’s own "The Village" team in a matchup against a DC semi-professional team. Additionally, 32 gently used coats collected during the drive were donated to The Covenant House, a youth homeless shelter in Washington, DC.
